With my own family, I realised how much sits in your head or on bits of paper – appointments, medications, conversations – all scattered and constantly changing.
The hardest part? You don't even realise what you don't know until something happens. By then you're already overwhelmed, already behind, already wishing you'd started sooner.
NAVO isn't being built from assumptions. It's being built from real experiences – mine, and the stories of families across Australia who've been kind enough to share them.
Why this matters
The Australian aged care system is genuinely hard to navigate. It wasn't designed with families in mind. NAVO is the layer between your family and all of that complexity.
How we build differently
Before writing a line of code, we talk to real families. We understand what's actually hard, what's missing, and what would genuinely help. Then we build that – and only that.
What we believe
Families shouldn't need to become aged care experts to look after the people they love. They just need the right information, the right tools, and to feel like someone understands what they're going through.
